Using the High-Scoring Letters Quickly

Try to use the highest-scoring letters as soon as you get them. You especially don't want them at the end of the game because if your opponent goes out first then the high scores are deducted from your score. The closer you are to the end of the game the more quickly you want to get rid of them. The only exception is on the first move. On a 'regular' Wordscraper board (as opposed to the Scrabble board or created boards) there is no possibility of doubling letters, so you can afford to hold on to the high-scoring letters until the next play where you might be able to double or triple the letters. The high-scoring letters that are most difficult Q, X, W, J.
